Dear Friends,
The rain has got to stop at some point and when the sun comes out, the place for you and your family to go will be the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary. We have so much happening it is hard to keep track... and speaking of Keeping Track, Roberta has published the latest edition of her insightful newsletter to bring you up to date on the adventures of not-so-little cubs, black bear Henry and cougar Cedar. Read all about it!
For those of you that have not stopped by in the last month, I am sure you'll be impressed (and pleased) to see our newly paved and gated entrance leading all the way back to the Fox enclosure. With the completion of the Aviary just around the corner you will hardly recognize the place!!! So in order to give you every reason to come and visit we have planned some incredible events this spring. So mark you calendars and click here for all the latest details!
- April 16th - 11am to 2pm is Bear Day at the Zoo - Hooray for Henry!
- May 21st - 11am to 2pm is Member Appreciation Day and the official dedication of our new Aviary!
- June 18th - Where Wild Things Are - A wild fundraising Gala at the Folsom Community Center
